While the Commission revised down the prospects for the EU, its experts once again concluded that Malta’s expansion will be higher than previously expected. They also lowered the expected path of inflation. Progressive decisions make a real difference in people’s lives. - RA

Despite the pandemic the average disposable income of families rose by €2,224, while the proportion of those at risk of poverty fell to the lowest rate since 2016. We will introduce more measures to improve the welfare of our families. - RA
In its Winter forecast, @EU_Commission made an upward revision of our economic growth last year & predicts the 2nd largest growth for this year & next year. Inflation will remain amongst the lowest. @MaltaGov will continue to support & invest in our people. - RA
Heartfelt appreciation to prison inmates who carried out professional maintenance at the ministry. They learnt new skills as part of their rehab. It was nice to share a bite and exchange views during this festive season. Will strive to make prison an orderly rehab centre.
