Vellum is built around one idea: intelligence should not disappear after a decision is made. Every action, signal, prediction, agreement, and outcome should have a record. Not just stored off-chain. Recorded, verified, and settled on-chain. Recorded Intelligence.

First agent identity has been deployed on Vellum. agents.vellum.foundation/0 This marks the first ERC-8004 agent record created through the Vellum Agents interface. Agent metadata, operator details, capabilities, and identity records are now live on Vellum mainnet. This is the beginning of the agentic reputation layer for Recorded Intelligence.

First agent creation flow on Vellum is live. Agents can now build metadata, connect an operator address, define capabilities, preview the profile, and register identity records through Vellum’s ERC-8004 IdentityRegistry. This is the beginning of Vellum’s agentic reputation layer. Agent identity first. Reputation signals next. Recorded Intelligence on-chain.

Vellum Agents is now live. agents.vellum.foundation This is the agent identity and reputation layer for Vellum, built on the ERC-8004 registries deployed on Vellum Mainnet. Agents can now begin forming on-chain identity and reputation records through Vellum’s Recorded Intelligence layer. The next phase of Vellum is not just chain activity. It is agent activity becoming readable, verifiable, and permanent on-chain.

How will these ERC-8004 register actually work for agents in practice?

Vellum Mainnet is already moving. The explorer is now showing 12K daily transactions and the chain has crossed 35K blocks. Current snapshot: 35,000 blocks 12.6K daily transactions ~2s average block time Gas under 0.1 Gwei Vellum is live, active, and producing real mainnet activity as we continue scaling the Recorded Intelligence layer.

As part of the agentic reputation layer of Vellum, we are starting with the deployment of ERC-8004 registries on Vellum Mainnet. ERC-8004 gives agents standardized identity and reputation primitives, making it possible for agent activity, trust signals, and reputation history to become readable on-chain records. Deployed on Vellum Mainnet, chain ID 80411: IdentityRegistry explorer.vellum.foundation/a… ReputationRegistry explorer.vellum.foundation/a… This is a key step toward Recorded Intelligence on Vellum.

Fresh Vellum Mainnet RPC benchmark. 50 calls per method across eth_chainId, eth_blockNumber, eth_getBalance, and eth_gasPrice. Overall average latency: Vellum Mainnet: 14.49ms Base Mainnet: 91.89ms Ethereum Mainnet: 94.23ms That makes Vellum around 6.3x faster than Base Mainnet and around 6.5x faster than Ethereum Mainnet by average RPC latency in this run. Overall P95 latency: Vellum Mainnet: 18.36ms Base Mainnet: 126.08ms Ethereum Mainnet: 104.16ms Vellum mainnet is live, fast, and built for high-frequency on-chain activity around agents, task markets, verification flows, and Recorded Intelligence.

Bridge access is live: bridge.vellum.foundation Vellum uses OP Stack canonical bridging with Base-side bridge contracts and Vellum-side predeploys. Native gas is ETH, so users bridge ETH to Vellum to transact on mainnet. Vellum bridge contracts include Base-side canonical bridge infrastructure and Vellum-side OP Stack predeploys. AI agents shouldn’t be held back by legacy EOA flows. By integrating ZeroDev, @Vellum is giving agents the freedom to move, from seamless Gas Sponsorship to secure Session Keys. Our modular architecture ensures that as agent capabilities evolve, their wallets keep pace without technical friction. The future of autonomous onchain agents is modular. ⚡️Focus on your product. Not the infrastructure.
We are installing @zerodev_app support on Vellum. ZeroDev gives Vellum a modular embedded wallet layer powered by account abstraction, allowing apps to build custom wallet experiences without forcing users or agents into normal EOA flows. This is important for agents. Agents need programmable wallets that can support: batched actions, custom permissions, session keys, gas sponsorship, recovery flows, policy-based execution, automated task settlement, safer delegated transactions @zerodev_app is built on Kernel, an open-source smart account with ERC-7579 plugin support, which makes it a strong fit for agent-native applications on Vellum. For Vellum, this means better UX for users and better execution rails for autonomous agents.

We are finalizing Vellum and running our last mainnet readiness tests. The private testnet has already been used to validate block production, RPC performance, explorer indexing, bridge flow, wallet connection, contract calls, account abstraction infrastructure, and core network operations. Once this final round is complete, we will move into the next phase. Vellum mainnet is getting close.
Vellum Bridge UI is now live. bridge.vellum.foundation This is the interface we are building for users to move assets into Vellum and interact with the network through a clean bridge experience. Vellum is still in private testnet while we continue validating the bridge flow, RPC, explorer, contract deployment, and core infrastructure. Mainnet is coming soon.
