The original Pinarello Espada (3rd image) was one of the most futuristic bicycles ever built. Designed for Miguel Induráin's 1994 UCI Hour Record attempt, it featured a carbon monocoque frame, a smaller front wheel, and aerodynamics refined in Lamborghini's wind tunnel.
