You don’t need everyone. You need the right people in the room. Different backgrounds. Different skill sets. One mission: show up for veterans and do the work the right way. Consistency over hype. Trust over shortcuts. Veterans. Network. Champions. Club. 🇺🇸

The biggest mistake veterans make before a C&P exam? They talk about medications, MRIs, injections, and treatments… But barely talk about how the condition actually affects their life. Most have adapted to their symptoms for so long they don’t even see the impact anymore. What’s something you’ve changed in your life because of a condition that became “normal” to you? #Veterans #VADisability

Standing on Omaha Beach years ago gave me a different appreciation for June 6, 1944. It’s one thing to read about D-Day. It’s another to stand there and try to imagine what those young men faced. 82 years later, we still owe them our gratitude. Never forget. 🇺🇸 #DDay

One of the biggest misconceptions in the VA claims space: Service-connected does NOT automatically mean compensated. According to VBA data, the most common rating for many body systems is 0%. Know the rating criteria. Know the evidence requirements. Build your strategy around the data, not the rumors. #VAClaims #Veterans

One of the biggest mistakes veterans make before a C&P exam is looking for the “right words.” There are no magic words. The challenge isn’t memorizing a script. The challenge is explaining what you’re living with every day. It’s one of the biggest reasons we created Ace Your C&P Exam. #vaclaims #vadisability #veterans

Built by veterans, for veterans. Huge thank you to Franco Gunslinger Barber Parlour and every single coordinator, Nevermore Events Co, who made this inaugural hike happen. What started as one veteran asking for support and not getting it turned into something powerful because he decided to build it himself. That kind of leadership matters. This wasn’t just a hike. It was veterans from every walk of life coming together to honor those who paid the ultimate price while also having real conversations about the struggles many are still facing after service. We met veterans fighting through the VA disability claims process. We met veterans already rated who showed up just to learn more so they could help their brothers, sisters, friends, and family still battling the system. That’s what this community is about. Thank you for having us and giving us the opportunity to connect with so many incredible veterans. Honored to have been part of it. 🇺🇸 #memorialday #military #veterans #diadeloswarriors

“I have a 70, a 50, a 20, and a 10… how am I STILL not 100%?” Because VA math doesn’t ADD ratings. It COMBINES them. That’s the “whole person theory” — and it’s why adding another condition doesn’t always move your overall percentage. New video breaks down: → VA math → Combined ratings → Why ratings stall → Filing with strategy youtu.be/XRJGihonvr0?si=s1i5… #VAClaims #VADisability #VAMath #Veterans

Everything you do while you’re still active duty can affect your VA claim after separation. Most vets wait until they’re almost out to start paying attention to this stuff… and by then a lot of the documentation opportunities are already gone. If you start early, you can: → Build a stronger BDD claim → Document conditions correctly → Understand what the VA actually evaluates → Avoid common mistakes before you file The goal isn’t filing more claims. The goal is filing smarter and being prepared. Comment CHECKLIST and I’ll send over my free BDD Claim Checklist. 🇺🇸 #VAClaims #BDD #MilitaryTransition #VADisability

“I have a 70, a 50, a 20, and a 10. Why am I still not 100%?” Because VA math doesn’t ADD ratings. It COMBINES them. Every new rating is applied only to the portion of you still considered “whole.” That’s why: 70 50 ≠ 120 in VA math. And why veterans can add another condition and see ZERO change in their combined percentage. Doesn’t always mean the VA ignored the condition. Sometimes the math just didn’t move enough to change the payable rating. That’s why strategy matters BEFORE filing. Stop walking into your C&P exam just reciting your medication list. The examiner can already see your meds, neurologists, Botox, prescriptions, and treatment history in your records. What they CAN’T see unless you explain it is the impact: → You’re still missing work → You’re still having prostrating attacks → You still have to lay in the dark → Your condition still isn’t controlled → Your life is still being affected despite treatment That’s the shift. A disability claim is not just a recap of treatment. It’s explaining the functional impact of the condition TODAY. ⚠️ Important: This is ONE example using migraines. Don’t memorize phrases and repeat them at your exam. That misses the entire point. Your words. Your symptoms. Your truth. Your story. That’s what we break down in tonight’s live C&P class. 8 PM EST. "Where can I buy a Nexus letter?" Wrong starting question. A Nexus letter is ONE tool. So are personal statements, lay statements, treatment records, service records, and C&P exams. Strategy is knowing which tool your claim actually needs. #Veterans #VAClaims

Female veterans are overrepresented at higher VA ratings. This data comes from the FY 2025 VBA Annual Benefits Report. Before the comments turn into lazy takes... this does NOT mean women are lying. It does NOT mean women “have it easier.” It means different service experiences create different claims profiles. Migraines. Mental health. Chronic pain. Conditions that are often dismissed, minimized, or underreported. Maybe the better question is: Are female veterans documenting better? Fighting longer? Refusing to quit after the first no? That’s the lesson, not gender war. Share this with a veteran who needs to stop letting people talk them out of fighting for what they earned. #veterans #vaclaims #vadisability #WomenVeterans #femaleveterans

A lot of veterans wonder why the rating needle isn't moving. The new FY2025 VBA data tells a story most are missing. → Musculoskeletal: 10% → Neurological: 10% → Digestive, respiratory, skin: 0% → Mental health: 70% That doesn't mean those conditions aren't real. It means the rating schedule has limits — and the bigger issue is often what the condition is doing to your work, sleep, and life beyond the schedular rating. Service-connected ≠ Compensated. Strategy matters more than just filing. The data matters. #veterans #vaclaims #vadisability #vba

At some point, more information turns into more confusion, and confusion gets expensive. How many denials are you willing to eat? How much time are you willing to lose? How much money are you going to leave on the table trying to piece it together by yourself? Your claim doesn’t need 20 different opinions. It needs a strategy. #veterans #vaclaims #vadisability #vaclaimssupport #nexusletter

Everybody wants to make this a free vs paid debate. It’s not. VSOs get paid whether your claim gets approved or denied. Upfront companies get paid before they ever deliver anything meaningful. Neither one automatically means they’re invested in your outcome. That’s the part veterans need to pay attention to. So this conversation isn’t really about free vs paid. It’s about SKIN IN THE GAME. It’s about whether the person helping you is actually invested in your outcome. #vaclaims

Some of these nexus letters got more buzzwords than medical reasoning. A nexus letter is a tool… not a magic ticket to 100%. #vaclaims #vadisability #nexusletters #veterans

"Do you sell Nexus Letters?" "Who do you recommend?" "Can AI write one?" My first question back: "Do you even know if you need one?" Some vets are told they need one for everything. Others are told they're all scams. Both miss the point. Start with what your CLAIM actually needs. Full video youtu.be/Gj7ks_QXJXM?si=Ejzu… #Veterans #VAClaims

A lot of veterans get stuck before they even file because they don’t know WHAT to file. So here’s a starting point: Top 10 Most Common VA Service-Connected Disabilities Not a checklist.
Not a guarantee.
Just data that can help you ask better questions. Because the goal isn’t to throw everything against the wall and hope something sticks. The goal is to file what’s true, what’s documented, and what can be connected. Share this with a veteran who’s stuck trying to figure out where to start. #veterans #vadisabilityrating #VAClaims #vadisability

1/5 Everyone online has an opinion about nexus letters. Some say you need one for every claim. Others say they’re all scams. The truth is somewhere in the middle. 🧵

4/5 A weak opinion is a weak opinion. Whether it comes from a private provider, a paid nexus company, or a VA-contracted examiner. Strategy beats buzzwords.
