π Sales & Business Development Manager (Publishing)

π₯About the Role
We are looking for a Sales & Business Development Manager to lead the growth of our book distribution across North America and international markets.
In this role, you will be responsible for building and managing relationships with bookstores, distributors, and online platforms, while driving sales performance and expanding our overall market presence.
π₯What Youβll Do
β’ Build and manage relationships with bookstores, distributors, and online retail platforms
β’ Drive product listings, restocking, and overall sales performance
β’ Develop pricing strategies, discount structures, and partnership terms
β’ Lead negotiations with partners and secure long term agreements
β’ Identify and develop new sales channels and business opportunities
β’ Monitor sales performance, inventory, and payment cycles
β’ Strengthen and maintain long term partnerships
π₯What Weβre Looking For
β’ Experience in publishing, book distribution, or channel sales is strongly preferred
β’ Familiarity with bookstore networks and distribution systems (e.g. Indigo, independent bookstores, online platforms)
β’ Strong negotiation and deal closing skills
β’ Existing industry relationships are a plus
β’ Strong communication skills in English
β’ Self driven, results oriented, and highly reliable
β’ Familiarity with our publishing categories and target audience is preferred

Compensation to be discussed based on experience and network, with additional performance based commission on projects and sales.
