Ladies and gentlemen, as we all know, @Qualcomm’s IoT SoC will empower the entire ecosystem out there. We’re introducing something exceptional in the single-board computer domain, with it also we’ve also explored modularity, much like @FrameworkPuter. It’s powered by the QCS6490, delivering 12 TOPS of performance.

Product so Goated🐐 and affordable that some people think it's a scam.

When we started, our goal was to accelerate compute through reconfigurability, and make it accessible to everyone, not just experts. We took on challenges across hardware, software, FPGA IPs, and toolchains. We recently launched Vaaman: an easy-to-use, high-end reconfigurable board, likely the most affordable with these features in the industry. We also spent nearly 3 years building our own AI CNN accelerator IP from scratch on top of Vaaman. We call it Gati, complete with a full toolchain and a locally developed runtime. Now our goal is shifting beyond CNN acceleration. We're open-sourcing Gati completely for the public to explore. This is a huge for everyone since it's built by 30 engineers. Give it a try.

Set your countdown timers; FPGAs were inaccessible until we arrived. Launching ShrikeFi: a wireless DevKit with a 1K LUT FPGA, priced at $9 / 849 INR.

The PicoRV32 example on the Shrike board by @Vicharak_In is now runtime-programmable. Drop in any 32 RV32I instructions over SPI and run them on the fly. No re-synthesis, No new bitstream.
Great job by @spr4bhu for porting picorv32, a ultra-minimal RISC-V core to Shrike-lite! You can literally design your own custom CPU on this $4 board now. The example is officially merged into our repo!

Ved has completed one year of his internship. You’ll find him exploring ShrikeFI, driving motors, and experimenting with ultrasonic sensors at @Vicharak_In.
Yesterday, a CA mom messaged us on Vicharak’s Instagram asking if her 10-year-old son could intern at Vicharak. I told her at-least, she should drop him in for a day or two so he can explore, learn around the Shrike series, interact with engineers, and simply play with technology. Imagine a 10-year-old spending time around people building real systems, asking questions, experimenting, breaking things, and learning core engineering concepts through curiosity. That’s the kind of future we should build for the next generation. I request every parents to, regardless of what field your children eventually pursue, your childern should have access to tools that let them create, experiment, and thitnk like builders. Buy them a development board, whether it’s Shrike-Lite, an Arduino Uno, or anything similar and simply let them explore. As we announced earlier, Shrike-Lite costs less than your coffee, but it can open an entirely new world for a child.

Cinema meets Edge AI. We experimented with running a Computer Vision model locally while analyzing shots from the official trailer of The Odyssey directed by Christopher Nolan starring Matt Damon, @TomHolland1996 , @Zendaya , Anne Hathaway, Robert Pattinson, and @Lupita_Nyongo No cloud processing just real-time AI inference running directly on-device. This was a fun side experiment by the Vicharak team exploring how AI can understand cinematic scenes in real time. All trailer footage belongs to Universal Pictures and the respective creators of The Odyssey. This video is shared purely for research, educational, and technological demonstration purposes. If this post crosses 10,000 likes and 1,000 reposts, we’ll open-source the complete codebase and demo pipeline. Built by Team Vicharak.

Pretty neat project on the Shrike-lite FPGA side. The CLI is a next-level upgrade for the toolchains. This opens the door for a lot of cool projects now
Finished shrike-gen for @Vicharak_In Shrike lite board and SLG47910V (Rev BB) FPGAs. shrike-gen enables Makefile based project creation and build without having to use Renesas' Go Config GUI nightmare. Finally I am free from the GUI nightmare. Stay tuned!

PS :- We also have small booth in Innovex co-located with computex this year. Where we will showcase some of our edge computing boards.

For years, developers have been forced to work around hardware limitations. With Vaaman, we wanted to change that. Vaaman is now available on the Vicharak Store a Linux SBC built with FPGA-powered reconfigurable compute at its core. Need more UARTs? Different protocols? Custom hardware acceleration? Real-time interfaces? Instead of changing boards, you reconfigure the hardware. Built for developers who like understanding systems deeply, experimenting freely, and pushing hardware beyond fixed designs. - FPGA-powered reconfigurable computing - Linux SBC for embedded & edge applications - Custom peripherals and hardware acceleration - Designed for robotics, vision, industrial and R&D workloads - Built by engineers, for engineers Hardware should adapt to your ideas not the other way around. #FPGA #ReconfigurableComputing #EmbeddedLinux #SBC #HardwareDesign #EdgeComputing #Robotics #Electronics #Vicharak #Vaaman
