I am hosting Have I Got News For You tonight! Ian‘s guest is Bella Hull and Paul‘s guest is Karl Turner MP. There’s something for everyone, by which I mean, everyone who is interested in the Labour Party or football.
9pm on BBC One.
Like many many other people tonight, I suspect, we’re settling down to have our dinner in front of an old episode of Planet Earth. He was only 80 when he made this one! A stripling! Happy birthday Sir David 🍾
The implication of this speech bubble seems to be: “Vote Labour to support Keir Starmer, as the alternative is worse”. There is a logic to that, but wouldn’t have expected it from the Mail!
What a lovely day at the Phoenix Comic festival. Brilliant to see the artists up close, and even better to be reminded how excited children STILL ARE by reading, writing and drawing ✍️
Michael Gove & Jon Sopel win the Spectator's BBC debate against Charles Moore & Allison Pearson. 57% of the audience voted to Defend the Beeb, rather than Defund it.

Well, I went to see #WutheringHeights in spite of myself, knowing from the sniffy reviews I would find it ridiculous. And I thought it was *wonderful*.
And that's not even mentioning the shoes!
Dark formal dress shoes please. Sports shoes and trainers are *not* acceptable absent an official medical exemption.
I'm with David, what is the point of letting it count if it's not in line with competition rules? It's the start of a slippery slope to using their hands to just roll the balls around for records
My little daughter: “Wow! Look! A toddler has won TWO World Records for playing snooker!”
My husband: “That’s a foul. You’re supposed to keep one foot on the ground at all times.”
Like many people, I was impressed and excited by the story of the bus driver who chased a mugger, punched him in the face, knocked him down and sat on him for half an hour waiting for the police. But I would say that this analysis, by Boris Johnson, is a bit of a stretch. #WWJD
