From his place under the dome, Gerry welcomed the world to Belfast with humour, kindness and pride, continuing to do what he loved even in the toughest times. Now his legacy lives on through a partnership supporting local cancer patients and their families, helping make difficult days a little easier. This weekend, Gerry’s colleagues will run the Belfast City Marathon relay in his honour and in support of Friends of the Cancer Centre.
