The US Navy has officially accepted delivery of USNS Sojourner Truth (T-AO 210), the sixth ship in the John Lewis-class fleet replenishment oiler program. Following successful sea trials, this milestone strengthens the Navy’s ability to fuel, sustain, and support operations around the world.
“USNS Sojourner Truth delivery marks another significant milestone for the Navy and the program,” said John Lighthammer, Auxiliary and Special Mission Ships program manager. “This ship represents the dedication and expertise of the shipbuilders, engineers, and program professionals who continue to deliver critical capability to the fleet.”
With additional ships already under construction, this delivery continues to build momentum, delivering the logistics capability needed to power tomorrow’s Fleet."

Marine Fighter Attack Squadron 231 "Ace of Spades" conducted its first flight with the F-35B ahead of its official reactivation later this summer. The Squadron officially deactivated as an AV-8B Harrier II squadron in 2025.
