It's very smart for Nvidia to be acquiring stock in companies it sells chips to. They get paid twice.

Flying cars are a cool futuristic technology with several benefits: *Reduced traffic *Economic benefits like new markets and jobs *Faster travel (like planes but more personal) But ask yourself this: would you want your neighbour to have a flying car? I cannot imagine anyone encouraging their next-door neighbour to buy a flying car due to the noise, gusts and safety risks.

A successful humanoid robot needs to be a similar height as the average human so that it can interact with human stuff. It also needs similar degrees of freedom in all areas, agility and speed as a human (or better) Anyone not doing that will have limited use-cases and the competition will eat them alive.
Elon Musk says Optimus will be twice the weight of a Unitree G1 Robot, which will make it around 154 pounds. It’ll be almost impossible to knock over.

Why /etc isn’t called /conf πŸ“ Today we use /etc in Linux for storing configuration files. But this begs the question.. why isn't it called /conf ? Back in the 1970's /etc was the "etcetera" directory, used for the user database, boot scripts and other things that just didnt fit in anywhere else. The name worked back then. Fast forward to more recent times and /etc is mostly used for config files, but the name of the directory has never been updated - If it did, imagine how much stuff would stop working!

250Gbps is the new 10Gbps - And I have the receipts Think bandwidth gets pricier with speed? Think again! Data shows that scaling up to 250Gbps is more cost effective than sticking with 10Gbps. Using market pricing, I compared NICs and switchports across speeds (1, 10, 25, 100, and 250 Gbps). The result? Higher bandwidth hardware slashes the cost per Gbps. Full analysis πŸ‘‡
