Tighter rotor spacing means descending through your own turbulence. A tricopter's Y-frame spaces the rotors out enough that vertical inspections stay smooth in both directions, and the footage you collect on the way down is actually worth keeping.

Spec sheet flight time and real mission flight time are two different numbers.
Our tricopter pulls 21% cruise efficiency. A typical quad gets 6%.
On a long day, that gap is the difference between finishing the job and going back out tomorrow.

Flight time is a field variable, not a spec. Can you finish the corridor in one flight? How many re-flies does a short weather window cost you? Efficiency compounds. The purchase price comparison never shows that.
