Weekend snow totals: a few comments.
1. The 150cm @CoCoRaHSCanada observation in CBRM is closer to citizen's reports (than the 86cm at YQY).
2. HRM (30cm west, 50 cm east) seems more representative than the 85cm at YHZ.
3. Pictou L observer had drifting on snowboard.

Snow starts in am then an icy mix to rain at times heavy. Strong SE winds; some gusts 100 causing outages & high coastal waves. Heaviest snow NB & Victoria Co CB; heaviest rain Mainland NS.
Poor driving and air & sea travel impacts.

A cold NW wind today & Saturday. Onshore snow off Fundy & Gulf; likely covering some roads in eastern NS-PEI (see pics).
Storm passes south of NS Sunday; snow develops over SW in morning (10-20 cm). May just reach Halifax in aftn (model consensus 2-4cm).
Wed: snow to rain & wind.
