We’ve had several inquiries about the status of this audio project, so I’d like to provide some clarity.
This year has been exceptionally demanding for me. I directed three theatrical productions back-to-back (along with a number of smaller studio productions), while also taking on an increased teaching workload that required more time away from my desk. In addition, personal family matters, particularly my mother’s declining health, required my attention and had to take priority.
Each time I set aside time to resume editing, unforeseen circumstances intervened.
This is not meant to elicit sympathy; rather, I want to be transparent and keep everyone informed about the factors that affected our progress and why I fell behind over the course of the year.
That being said, the project is absolutely still moving forward. I plan to resume editing duties during the Christmas holidays.
The audio could have been released much sooner had I chosen to rush the process and cut corners, but that is not how we operate at VocaLAB. We work to ensure that all components of our projects uphold our commitment to exceptional quality quality that we can deliver.
What I can say with complete confidence is that once this audio is released, listeners will be astonished by the remarkable vocal performances featured in this story, as well as a script that is rich in emotion and impact.
Thank you for being patient, enthusiastic and supportive.
