Why do people buy G wagons?
I'm in the process of moving to a different part of town and since the Corvette C8 doesn't really fit much beyond golf clubs I had to rent a bigger car for a week to get this move done
I tried to rent a Porsche Cayenne Coupe because that is actually a car I'm interested in, but on the day of delivery they said the previous person kept it so they offered me a replacement
I finally got to see why there are so many damn G Wagons all over Dubai (and other wealthy areas like Miami etc)
For the insane money for the G63, it's literally one of the worst values I've ever seen in a vehicle
It's as ugly as could be, it's not very comfortable, it doesn't handle particularly well, it's way smaller and less practical inside than it appears, there's rattles and wind noises everywhere, it has huge blind spots, the driver assist beeps go off constantly, the turning radius is horrendous, the infotainment system isn't even a touchscreen, it's a terrible vehicle!
But for some strange reason, it's also awesome
It has some bizarre formula where it's awful and there's dozens of SUV's that are way better for way less money, and yet driving it somehow feels great. I can't explain it...
Have you ever experienced a car that is both terrible and amazing at the same time?
