Even if you reject Bananza whole heartedly, which is dumb if you wanted Odyssey 2, what abouy Bowsers Fury after Odyssey? Wonder? What about other games like MK, Brothership, Rabbids Expansion, New Aces, etc.

My ultimate take on OoTR is that while the og is a wonderful game we cannot ignore the chaotic development cycle that lead to a LOT of confusing decisions, cuts, and "dead content" within the OG that the 3D remake coat of paint had no room to amend. This is NOT just a remaster.

Flat Texture rooms/towns, cut content galore, last minute quest swaps, dead items (Ice Arrows, Naryu's Love), 2 required time swaps in the entire game (1 excluding lens), and despite a really great final boss a very lacking final dungeon.
There is absolutely room to improve here

Haha yeah man I wonder why nintendo was so quick to push a bunch of exclusive releases in the first couple years of the switch as opposed to the switch 2
As of right now Nintendo isn’t giving nearly enough reasons for you to own Switch 2. Comparing the first 2 years of Switch and Switch 2 is damn night and day.
I still have hope and don’t regret owning one, but man this is a pretty weak start. Still better than Wii U was I guess.

Seriously though the Wii U was a massive disaster that Nintendo was trying to scrape away and rebuild from on a completely new system. The switch 2 is literally just a performance upgrade of an already MASSIVELY successful console of course they aren't just DROPPING Sw1 support

Plus half of these games were already in development and a major point of the Sw2 is that its compatible with the same games plus more. The Sw2 isnt a hard swap console its literally designed to slowly move players up over time

To be fair while it makes sense narratively its funny that the "chosen" (on the spot) hero meant to be the very symbol of sudden courage and protector of both time and the will of the sages, also does not actually possess the Triforce of courage and isnt technically a hero at all

People who have this this idea that new ID's "make the game too easy" fundamentally do not understand the point of new ID's nor lategame design philosophy
I feel like the newer id's (i.e ; post c8, c9) shouldnt be accessed by newer limbus players and should be locked to their specific cantos, or the cantos after them. Though, standard id's are exempt, just my two cents really.

Realistically active evolution / adaptation is hella common. Regional variants, alternate forms, even split evos. The professors probably chalked it up to advancing genetics since everyone gave up after debating the first new Eeveelutions.

The funny thing about limbus "powercreep" is that it's actually fairly healthy. The main boost per id/season is damage or gimmicks. A giant chunk of ID's are viable or useable even from super early seasons, it simply just takes longer to win than HoS/Heishou

Obviously there's walls in the game but its always more of an issue of team composition than individual IDs. I think too many people get lost in whatever metas that they forget that this game has like 200 units not named Mao Faust and more than half of them are still really good
