We had such a great time at the Carrollton, TX public library today. We didn’t have @KirkCameron but we had 247 people at our #syatl event. From the fire & police chief to local authors and even a guy who reads books to kids on his YouTube channel. We’ve GOT to do this again!!

Mr Matthews was a legend in Carrollton and was always very kind to the media....in his later years he worked as a TSA Agent at Love Field and he'd often say hello to me as I was traveling to a game....

Sad news out of Carrollton, John Matthews, CFBISD board member, former administrator and coach passed away from COVID complications. He was the Voice of Standridge Stadium for 43 years. Huge advocate for athletics and huge reason for the facility improvements in CFBISD #txhsfb
