Today is Human Rights Day, commemorating the 76th anniversary of the introduction of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. We will continue to advocate for the values of the UDHR to be recognised here in WA, and hope that a Human Rights Act will soon be a reality!

Western Australia for a Human Rights Act retweeted
Australia needs an economy that invests in #HumanRights. As we face challenges like exploding inequalities & #ClimateChange – an #AusHumanRightsAct together with state/territory Human Rights Acts can provide a framework for actions that don’t leave anyone behind #auslaw #auspol
Without human rights, there can be no sustainable development - no real progress to stop #ClimateChange, poverty, conflict nor any global crisis To change course, we need policies & investments that counter inequalities & prioritise sustainability We need a human rights economy
