What an unforgettable adventure! 🗽✨ BLAST 7th & 8th graders had an amazing time exploring New York City! From the bright lights of Times Square and breathtaking views at Top of the Rock, to walking through history at Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty, every moment was full of learning and memories. Students also enjoyed Rise NY, MJ the Musical on Broadway, 5th Avenue shopping, the Intrepid Museum, Madame Tussauds Wax Museum, and Chelsea Market!

Congratulations to Haven Dulaney! Haven was accepted into the Teen Intern Museum Apprenticeship Program (MAP) at EdVenture Children's Museum. The Museum Apprentice Program is a leadership development and skill-building program for teens ages 13–18. Program participants, known as MAPs, work together on various projects and volunteer opportunities related to The Children’s Museum throughout the year. MAPs also have opportunities to work alongside museum staff, peek behind the scenes, and more! #WinTogether

It was a busy and exciting end of the year at W.A. Perry! Students and staff celebrated success at Surge Adventure Park and our Attendance Glow Party. Scholars earned celebrations through strong STAR Growth and improved attendance. Annual AVID Signing Day was a success! Our 6th and 7th grade scholars officially joined the AVID family, committing themselves to academic excellence, organization, leadership, and a college- and career-ready mindset.
