Following my dad’s funeral last month, this morning we received a really nice letter along with some seeds to plant from @SBRFoundation. An excellent thought from a fantastic organisation.

Interesting stadium tour this morning with a big group of Dutch fans on a stag do straight off the overnight ferry from Amsterdam. Great bunch of lads 👍

What was with our society’s obsession with quicksand when we were kids? At the time I genuinely believed it was one of the world’s leading causes of death. Every birthday marked another 365 days of somehow avoiding quicksand,

As far back as 1966 Newcastle United were “having difficulties” with Newcastle City Council over St. James’ Park. Back then it was Lord Westwood not seeing eye to eye with them, does anything ever change 🤷‍♂️

25 years ago I bought my dad a brick at St Jame’s Park, he always joked that people will think he had passed away. Just home from his really nice funeral service this afternoon so thought it was appropriate to post it again.

He won’t get any star ratings but Trippier played a massive part in that victory. 1st half - under the guise of warming up, constantly encouraging Miley and talking to the back four 2nd half - calmed the on field players & the unhappy subs A true leader who will be a huge miss

Just sorting through my large collection of books on Muhammad Ali. Found a letter from bare-knuckle boxing champion Paddy Monaghan, what a character he was, and his friendship with Ali was amazing. Paddy passed away in 2017 but his books are well worth a read

Excellent Memory Lane tour this morning and Bob was again on fine form with his stories. Today’s tour also had visitors from a local care home, some fantastic characters including Frederick Robson, he never made the first team but played a few reserve games 1952/53

I’m presuming Rosenior’s hefty pay off impacts further on Chelsea’s PSR / SCR? It will be interesting to see how @premierleague let them get away with it yet again.🤷‍♂️
