ALT For two decades Angela Stuesse has been studying the structural conditions shaping the lives of undocumented and other low wage workers in the US South, with a focus on global capitalism, citizenship, racism, and the methodologies of activist research. Her current project, tentatively titled #FreeDany and co-authored with its protagonist, Dany Vargas, explores U.S. immigration policy and discourse across the twenty-first century through the life story of one Dreamer and her family.
