Many congratulations to Alastair Collett installed today as the new Master Glover. The ceremony held at St Margaret Lothbury and the celebratory lunch at Drapers Hall was attended by 200 Glovers and guests.

Last year the Company had a request to support a bid to purchase the Victoria Cross of Sqn Ldr Scarf when we risked loosing it to an overseas buyer. While on RAF duty today the Clerk had a chance to see it for the first time. A proud day!

Did you know that in the event of the Master being unavailable to officiate at a Court Meeting or Dinner the Immediate Past Master (IPM) would step in? We take this very seriously in the Company so keep our IPM in the cupboard ready to go...😜🤣
