World Community Grid is down due to ongoing maintenance at the data centre.
We expect to be back up tomorrow morning, and service may resume earlier than that depending on the outcome of the maintenance today.

We have completed a graceful shutdown of all WCG components to avoid imminent power loss before UPS ran out. Data is safe, we await news from hosting about the length of downtime as they conduct emergency power maintenance.

The MCM team continues to characterise lung cancer biomarkers identified in the MCM1 project. This update focuses on ASTN2, a protein involved in neuronal migration. It is expressed across several tissue types, and has been implicated in various cancers.
