Nan Hauser was swimming to record whale footage when a male humpback charged and began aggressively nudging her. For roughly 10 minutes, the whale tucked her under its pectoral fin and pushed her across the water. The humpback even lifted her completely out of the water on its head. Hauser originally feared for her life until she spotted the massive tiger shark swimming nearby in an attack posture. The whale safely maneuvered Hauser all the way back to her research vessel.
