The men had 2 magnificent Pole Vaulters competing, with both Andrew Jones (A) & George Heppinstall (B) winning the competition with 3.80m.
Win for @LuceHolmes in the Discus, with 23.13m.
With 31.90m, @ProamInjury won the Hammer with 48.57m & young Abby Ward jumped an almighty PB of 1.74m to win the HJ. There was one B string
There were many A & B String victories for Wakefield. For the women, @SingoHelen won the A 1500m in 4:41.5s, @petrolhead14 won the A discus

At the half way point of the WYT&FL, we have 2 athletes at the top of the points table for their age group!
A mistake made earlier for the 1500m times - Ben Read actually ran 4:07.9s!! Sorry Ben! :)
The West Yorkshire Schools Championships will be held at the Princess Mary Stadium, Cleckheaton on Saturday 14th June.
