Northfield Station and Longbridge Station have been adopted by Baskerville School. It was great to see support from Councillor Esther Rai and local community groups. The pupils and Lead Adopters are planning projects such as planting and artwork to take place early 2026.

We are thrilled to begin #CommunityRailWeek by officially announcing our new Shifnal station adopters. We handed over our trust to this amazing group of new volunteers today. We're excited to see what they bring to the station which first opened all the way back in 1849.

We were pleased to welcome more than a dozen members of #Whittington Beavers to @WestMidRailway #LichfieldCity station for a talk on railway safety. The boys had lots of questions for us as they learned about safe use of level crossings and platforms. #CommunityRail
