ROAD CLOSED: Bannister street in West Manchester Township is closed between Weldon Dr. and Williams St. due to wires down. Unknown timeframe until it will be reopened.

Due to a Motor Vehicle Accident the traffic lights at Trinity Rd and W. Market St are out and will be out for several hours. The intersection is now a 4 way stop. Please use caution in the area and stay alert.

Today members are participating in the Wallace Elementary Fun Dan. The children can take tours of our Engine and Rescue and put out a simulator fire with a water extinguisher. @wyasdblue

We have confirmed the source of odors throughout the Township and they are coming from the Spring Grove Paper Mill. The issue was resolved about 7:30am and we expect the odor to dissipate soon.

Crews have been responding to numerous calls of odors of natural gas outside throughout the Township Calls also coming in throughout the county. @ColumbiaGasPA is aware and we are working with them to find the source.
