Before Robert Goddard launched the space age, the class of 1908 graduate was hard at work testing out theories on campus. A special digital exhibit and pop-up exhibits at WPI’s Gordon Library documents some of that history.

Presenting on the history of WPI's Project-Based Learning at the 2025 AAPT Summer Meeting in Washington, DC. First implemented in 1970, the WPI Plan celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2020. As of today, there are more than 50 WPI Project Centers located worldwide.
