This January we were awarded a grant from IN-MaC. Western was awarded $2,000 to purchase five adtl 3D Printers for our K5 STEM rooms. IN-MaC allowed us to increase access to creative and exciting tools in our STEM Labs for all of K5 students. Megan McGrew is our K2 STEM Teacher.

Western School Corporation was awarded the Excellence in Academic Gains focused on ILEARN growth. The Indiana Educational Excellence Awards Gala took place on Fri Sept. 9th, 2022 and was hosted by the IDOE.

Congratulations to Stephan Garber for being named the new Western Band Director tonight at the school board meeting. He has been part of the Western Marching Band and Guard since 2012. Stephan has been part of State Championships in 2012, 14, 15, 16, 19, and recently 2021.
