Students in Mr. West’s Gr7 Adv Math class collaborated together and were able to come to the same conclusion as Pythagoras…the proof of Pythagorean Theorem. #BuildingFutureLeaders
Mrs. Gregory, aka Winifred Sanderson, challenged her students with an escape room while reviewing Slope, y-intercept, and proportional and non-proportional functions. #wsisd#bearsdomath#BMS

Mr. West ensured his students would understand and remember the concept of solving equations by using algebra tiles to emphasize the mathematical process. Way to engage your students, Mr. West!
Students in Mrs. Gregory’s class showed off their knowledge of the real number system by rotating through a variety of stations, such as Scientific Notation Tic-Tac-Toe, Scientific Memory, and cup sorting with real numbers.
Students in Mrs. Nelson’s Algebra 1 class showed off their teamwork skills by collaborating during a game of 31-derful. Students had to create a 5x5 array with each row and column adding up to 31. #BuildingFutureLeaders#bearsdomath#wsisd
Students in Ms. Westbury’s class had a fun game of “speed dating” and then some students volunteered to show how they got their answers!! #bearsdomathinstagram.com/p/CbvXCtBrZwI/…
Students in Mrs. Oakes’ and Mrs. Watson’s class spent the day on the football field learning about absolute value and how distance is never negative. #bearsdomath#bearsdefyinglimits
Mrs. Nelson reviewing for the Unit 1 test by using stations. Students rotated between playing Showdown ,Tic-Tax-Toe, Who am I, and created test questions with answers. Lots of learning going on!! #bearsdomath#bearsdefyinglimits
