A pretty disappointing end to my tournament series this year; at least I didn’t totally brick. Investment will pay back $30/share

I’m out! I raise in CO to 2.2 w/A8cc off a 20k stack, BB (a very good aggressive player) calls. Flop Q94cc. But bet 2.5, BB raises to 6.5, I shove, he snap calls w/Q6cc (what a flop for him!). No A or club on the turn or river :(

Blinds now 500/1000 w/1000 BB ante

End lvl 5, down to 21k Nothing too interesting, just losing a bunch of small ones 3 times I raised/defended KJ/QJ and the flop came A high
12
End lvl 4, I have 31k, no significant hands

Had a couple big flops I couldn’t get any value on. Just lost a pretty big one bluff-catching w/KJ on a AAJ board. 32k end of lvl 5

Venetian Deep Stack $1100 NLHE gogogo! 40k chips to start

My last tournament of the summer starts at 11am today at Venetian. I’ll probably jump in around noon.

I’m out! Got my last bet in the SB w/2349, villain had something like A598 and made better two pair on QQ4A3 board

I’m down to crumbs. Defended BB to a 3-bet w/KQo, flop K62cc, I check raised, get 3-bet, and call, leaving myself one bet. I was intended to get it in on almost any turn, but it was Ac and I folded

End lvl 8, I have 12k. Mostly brutal stud rounds, but I survived an all-in chopping a pot with 7733A25 on the last hand of Stud 8
24
The Stud games play much bigger than the flop games, lots of big pots
33
Down to 12k, losing a Stud 8 pot where I had 8(JJ)8 on 4th but hand to fold 6th against a A235 board
35
End lvl 7 I have 24k
21
Lost a big Stud pot where I started with pocket AA vs rolled up 222

The Japanese player at my table (Ryutaro Suzuki) already has at least 125k

End lvl 6, I have 26k Good LHE round where I won 3 small pots, then a quiet O8 round. Back to Razz 😑

Just folded A2 preflop in O8 (A287r) for the first time I can remember, facing a cold 4-bet. I actually would have won the whole pot with a straight using 87

Just lost our first player in a LHE hand that went 5 bets 4-ways preflop. Ultimately Obst’s AA (who was not all-in) lost to a flopped set of tens. All-in guys had J9s
