Environmental charity that saves unwanted resources from business. Crafts and gifts - designed and made by a crack team of volunteers. Charity No. 1077193
It was a pleasure to present the King’s Award for Voluntary Service to Wiltshire Scrapstore, Bowden Hill yesterday. With over 80 volunteers the charity is a shining example of creativity, sustainability and community spirit. Do go and visit! @WScrapstore#KAVS 📷Tom Cosgrave
Today was a very special day indeed! We had a visit from the Lord Lieutenant of Wiltshire, who presented us with a certificate and a crystal - our King's Award for Voluntary Service! This award is the equivalent of a lifetime MBE for the voluntary sector.
We want to say a HUGE thank you to our hard working & dedicated volunteers for the 600 plus hours a week they contribute and a massive thank you to the Lord Lieutenant, Lady Lansdowne and Josephine Del Marr for helping to make the day so special.

🫵🫵We need your old bamboo!🫵🫵
We need lots of bamboo for an environmental project. We need the bamboo to be wiped of all it's previous use (no mud, we're afraid).
Can you help us? 🎍🕺
We need your help!
We need mugs to be used as a Bug Mug insect hotel for a big Eco project.
The mugs can't point up to the sky, so they need to have a handle that allows it to be horizontal or face down.
The mugs need to be clean and undamaged.
