Hurricane Erick made landfall in Oaxaca, Mexico this morning as a Category 3 with max sustained winds of 125 mph. It will continue to weaken as it brings heavy rain and gusty winds to the region. No tropical impacts for the Big Bend and South Georgia for at least the next week.

A very powerful Hurricane Erick is making landfall on the Pacific Coast of Mexico as the Atlantic remains calm. Juneteenth starts with lots of sunshine in the Big Bend and South Georgia, but scattered storms that pop later this afternoon return each afternoon this weekend.

RECORD HIGH TEMPERATURE --------------------------- Tallahassee has broken a daily record high for the second day in a row! The record high temperature for May 17 of 95 degrees set back in 1933 was surpassed by today's high of 96 degrees set at the Tallahassee airport.

Increased Snow Totals for the Big Bend and South Georgia! A forecast of 1-2" for Tallahassee would be enough for the largest snowfall accumulation since 1989, when an inch was recorded just before Christmas. Still updates to be made tomorrow, including for ice east of the city!
