Now that almost everyone is home from Japan and the post trip blues are kicking in, keep in mind this was a trip of a life time. Peak memories. The Sakafuneishi Stone - Asuka, Japan 🇯🇵 You can see the stone was worked & parts were broken off from what it originally was. No one knows for sure what it was used for, but I’ll be dropping a video soon showing the full stone, all its features & taking a crack at guessing.

Masuda-no-Iwafune (Spaceship Stone) in Asuka, Japan was clearly left unfinished. You can see sections were being created in the stone for removal. It was worked from the top down, breaking off smaller worked pieces a bit at a time. @drentenvdb in the last shot is 6’4

This has been going around again. It’s a road and a tunnel in Zion National Park that from this angle prevents the whole view. Fun and scenic drive!
