Last night, @WacoTXFire Technical Rescue Team members, @txtf1, @TexasGameWarden personnel, and members of many other agencies helped rescue dozens of people from trapped vehicles after heavy rains over a short period, causing extensive flash flooding. Turn Around Don't Drown!

27 years ago, the Imperial Woodworks fire at 323 S. 6th St. destroyed an entire downtown block and nearly took the lives of two @WacoTXFire firefighters.
Today, the site is home to @ACHotels Waco, #Waco Welcome Center, and @Kilwins Ice Cream-proof of resilience and rebirth!
