Yeah, my rule is I never, ever mention middle school athletes in the blog, no matter what they achieve. Even if they run a 4:14 mile or a 5:06 mile [which South Jersey middle school runners did this spring]. I don't think that sort of publicity is healthy for kids that age.
Let's not forget the middle schooler from Pennsauken, NJ, Keyon Ali, who placed fourth in the Middle School 200 M final.
