Nov '18 SAC meeting minutes ENCOURAGE schools to hold MVP Parent Info nights. Parents at GHHS petitioned for this in Feb '19 & Fletcher was "very concerned" about Tillery agreeing to it! Board should *demand*, NOT *stifle* WCPSS transparency!

Parents requested a town hall meeting about MVP and he said that this was โgetting out of hand.โ He wants no parent or student input and talks about parents to BOE members in private.

And Woods Charter and Research Triangle did great as well - As West Cary schools on the decline, many families fed up with WCPSS are going to these two schools now

This comment from WCPSS educator sums up a lot.
Word privilege thrown around a lot in WakeCo to justify taking from some to give to others in name of equity.
However, lack of digital ed plan means learning taken away from ALL. So now Whole County oppressed.
Equity achieved.

@WCPSS for 3 years said MVP math w/online resources & kid led grp learning = real world learning. Direct teaching bad.
Now saying challenge to online school = need direct access to teachers & not everyone has internet/resources.
Which is it? I'm confused. Seems they are too.

And people wonder why we aren't patient and blindly trusting of WCPSS to navigate this crisis. Would love to give them the benefit of the doubt but that trust bridge was burned by them with MVP shenanigans, non sequtirs, cover-up, kangaroo court, and lies. Won't be fooled again.

Still waiting for WCPSS to make a statement about it, or perhaps even apologize to me for their part in it. (I won't hold my breath.) I'm sure WCPSS's curriculum admins and other leaders were cheering it on. Fools. Untrustworthy fools. They should be rueing the day by now.
