Today children in year 5 & 6 from @CherryTree_SCH came in for a taster session in Hair & Beauty at @CastlefordColl. What a lovely afternoon in the salons, learning hair plaiting techniques and completing a manicure treatment.

Today we welcomed children from @CherryTree_SCH for a taster session in Carpentry and Joinery at @CastlefordColl . A fantastic afternoon making wooden pencil boxes. They learnt to use the correct tools and after watching a demonstration from the tutor, created their own box.

Today we welcomed @CherryTree_SCH for a taster session in Mechanics at @CastlefordColl. Such a great afternoon learning about tools, how to use a car jack, removing and refitting a tyre and checking under the bonnet. The children got involved and left with fantastic new skills.

Today we welcomed @CherryTree_SCH for a taster session in Childcare at @CastlefordColl What a fab afternoon we had making playdough & oobleck, painting & printing with fruit, creating ideas for tuff trays and thinking creatively using the very hungry caterpillar for inspiration
