Drivers are out of control
A million UK drivers don't bother about insurance costs & drive uninsured.
RTCs cost the economy >£40bn a year to clear up & wreak untold misery on the victims.
Yet fuel duty has been frozen for 13 years.
It's time to stop pandering to drivers.

These images are 2 seconds apart from a rear facing vehicle camera.
One aspect of cams is seeing just how close people come to colliding. In this case reckless overtaking by the motorcyclist nearly resulting in a side on collision with a turning vehicle.

Have been mulling over today what remains of Bath's 'Dirty 30' mph network.
Have also been considering which educational establishments are on/adjacent to these relatively dangerous speeds.
Are we ok with exposing children and young people to this level of risk?

Our 2 cargo bikes were stolen from our garage overnight 😭 - an Urban Arrow and a Bike43.
Please share if you're in Bath - they can't be far!!
This has been reported to police and have marked as stolen on @bikeregister

Would love to see this in #Bath. In some places the wait for the green person is 1 minute !
In 2021, London introduced "Green Person Authority" at 18 locations—walk signals that stayed green until a car was detected—reducing pedestrian journey time with no impact on car traffic.

So many people use camera to protect themselves now- horse riders, pedestrians, people on cycles, people driving...
If you drive carelessly or dangerously the law will catch up with you, and a lot sooner than in times gone by.
