So great Agatha Christie is being celebrated in this way in the places she lived. However Wallingford statue will belong to @Wallingfordtc, not us. It will be in the Kinecroft, in front of the museum, & will be a lovely way to mark her local life 1935-76. heraldseries.co.uk/news/2008…

Ever wonder what #Wallingford Museum has in its collection?! Such delights like our coy John Wesley painted onto a ox bone! What would you paint a portrait on??? Please vote for us #TeamWallingford

From @WallingfordMus A painted ox-bone vertebrae: a rare example of late 18th century folk art depicting Methodist preacher John Wesley, dressed in a black robe with a white clerical collar and tabs. He first preached in Wallingford in 1769. It’s one of our Curator's favourites!
