Azad Kashmir Update
Pakistan’s government is democratic and always prefers peaceful dialogue first.
The Public Action Committee started with public demands.
The government accepted 14 demands in the first round, then 37 out of 38 in the second.
On the 12 seats issue, an All Parties Conference was held, the Assembly passed a unanimous resolution, and the Supreme Court of Azad Kashmir ruled clearly: Only Parliament can decide this — no group can impose its will through force.
They were told: “Elections are in two months — take your case to the people.” Instead, they chose violence and chaos.
Rawalakot violence was pre-planned. Brutal attacks on police officers, open firing, and blocking roads have been exposed.
Transport is halted and shops are forced to stay closed.
This is not a peaceful public movement.
Peace and democracy will prevail.
