Head Coach Omar Wattad and Lander Basketball will face Gannon in the DII Championship on Sunday.
The game will be on CBS at 1p.
Wattad played at Georgetown for two seasons (2007-09) before transferring to UTC.

Cam Bacote has been named the new Head Basketball Coach at Bethel High School in Hampton, VA.
Chosen 1st Team All-State, Bacote helped lead the Bruins to the State Championship game in 2017 before going on to play his College Hoops at Georgetown, Indiana State, Maryland-Eastern Shore and Western Carolina.

Bishop Ireton has named Chris Wright as their new head basketball coach. A former St. John’s (DC) & Georgetown standout point guard, Wright gets his first opportunity as a head coach in the WCAC.
Currently coaching @dcassaulthoops 17s, he’ll bring plenty of knowledge from his lengthy professional career the experience he’s had over the last couple of years.
