I don’t subscribe to the notion that some athletes stay off social media or have no presence because of fear of fans’ criticism. Track & Field is the only sport where the athletes take offense to everything. If LeBron and other greats from other sports took offense to every scathing criticism, they wouldn’t be as successful today. If anything, that should fuel your next performance.

I agree with Warren whole heartedly every other sport you see the athletes fully focused on building their BRAND. Look at WNBA they weren’t getting paid much by the league but the players them self brought so much attention to them self it started translating to the sport
