While central offices will remain open, schools will not be in session starting Monday, April 14. All offices will close on April 18. School will be back in session on April 21. 🗓️

Today we transformed our cafeteria into the Washington Elementary Farmers Market & students loved it! 🌽🍎 They enjoyed lunch together & visited fruit/veggie stands. Thanks to the @GuilfordCollege Farm, & all partners for sharing info on local produce & inspiring healthy choices!

We flipped the script on Back-to-School Night, and introduced Back-to-sShool Morning. Today parents experienced firsthand our Morning Movement routine. They joined in for 20 minutes of physical activity and 10 minutes of mindfulness & yoga.

Yesterday, for our final Destination Wednesday morning announcements of the school year, we visited YMCA Camp Weaver, just 5 miles away in Washington! Camp Weaver offers a variety of activities for kids, like swimming, kayaking, ziplining, and even a ropes course!
