"Watcher.... Why POTATO? Potato's are not fearsome Why not stretch the acronym some other way?" Because the potato is perfect, friend... It's humble, it's enduring. It's beloved by both our cultures. It's Cute, it's friendly, and it's a MIGHTY sustaining power to us all... Plus, it's a bit like the "root beer" doctrine... lol It presents EXACTLY the correct idea of what our relationship should be like. Both a luxury to be enjoyed in times of feast, and a staple which can see us through famine. With care and preparation, a delicacy even for the very rich, yet something not uncommon on the most humble of tables The POTATO Unites us The POTATO Sustains us if you feel the call of POTATO, join us in perfecting the patch design Once we have a few good examples, we will vote Then I will make them available for sale to both Japan and America (for now... more Pacific nations to follow) And then we can begin setting up "POTATO patches" where you can have club meetings and wear you patches, and we can appreciate each others cultures together as a group, yet an ocean apart Maybe we can start setting up SPUD (Sprouting Pacific Unity Day) Meetups to encourage cross pacific tourism where different Patches meet up to talk in Japan or America!
Flipped the sides and changed it to the Japanese Green Pheasant.

I wonder.... What I'm doing will, if successful, establish a potentially multi million dollar local industry out of reducing the population of a harmful invasive species... And I'm doing it in an EXTREMELY energy and water efficient manner because of necessity, but I wonder.... do you think I might qualify for some kind of... IDK.. And I'm a disabled vet ... Sustainability or efficiency or SOME kind of grant or loan or something?

Mostly I need money for the processing facility... I have a building in mind, I could get in cheap, but I'm 100% sure it would be on me to fund the renovation of the building to make it a commercial kitchen and fish processor I also learned that unlike other meat, ALL seafood processing facilities MUST be up to federal standards... there aren't any "state only" seafood processors... so... That is going to add some cost and difficulty I bet there is a kind of person who's job it is to know what kids of loans/grants/programs a startup business qualifies for and applies to them for the founder... IDK what it's called.... or how to hire one... but I need one ASAP

Seaworthiness trial update: Finally got everything ready with only about an hour and a half of light left, but got it launched and tested it out a bit The modifications work better than I imagined... Everything seems to be JUST right It's VERY stable too... and it tracks well with the new keel I've still got to finish it out with the electronics suite and a few adjustments for comfort, but I can safely say this thing is like a mini party barge.... Awesome!

Crayfish Business Update: Many have asked if they can preorder Crayfish... I was hesitant until I finished the research on if/how I would ship live crayfish... to customers for consumption turns out.... It's an already solved problem and gets done all the time.. Shipping won't be cheap, has to be overnight air, but yes, we can ship you live crayfish basically as soon as I get my food producer license.... so I'll figure out a way for you to do that

these issues go away once I can open a processing facility tho... All states allow them prepped or dead, the issues is they don't taste right if you don't kill the, BY putting them in the pot, so I can't just put them on ice and send them dead that way but once I can cook, process, vacuume pack then freeze them, we will be able to ship anywhere in CONUS, and shipping that will be a bit easier (frozen can just get packed with dry ice, EZPZ)

Oh.... I should add that the processing facility will follow shortly after we open... At first it will be inside a rented kitchen space, until we can justify building our own

DIRECTLY INTO MY VEINS
Ryan Lamuga, owner of Rhino Roofing and Siding in Bemidji, Minnesota, had 23 of his 30 employees detained by ICE yesterday. The agents reportedly told him they would track him down afterward. It is a federal crime to knowingly hire illegal aliens. Ryan should be charged and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

I was... unaware they make not very expensive tank-less diving systems now..... not something I am looking to get into... just crazy how cheap they are now, like 200 bucks, some gloves, flippers, a face mask and a scraper and you can start a boat cleaning company

Update.... I don't want to count chickens before they hatch, but somebody reached out and offered to do the end caps and bow plate for free... like... gratis....cost of shipping it to me.... I haven't had the opportunity to ask if he wants me to blast out his shop or his personal page yet, but that is EXTREMELY cool, thank you very much, you are a freaking hero sir. When he lets me know, stand by for some ABSOLUTELY SHAMELESS promotionals from me for a long time, lol

Friends who can weld aluminum: I might just have to pay somebody to do this, and all the fab shops I just called in my area say they are between 2 and 5 months out on jobs.... so... not good, lol

Is it just me... Or is the most fitting memorial to the GWOT just a giant sand pit that pvts and visitors are handed rakes and pt belts and told to turn into a zen garden on a daily basis....

MFW I realize the transom end-caps I'm trying to fabricate are small enough I could probably do them on my tiny CNC machine....
