SPX6900 is nearly 2.5 years old (just 2 weeks away)!
I'm simply here to remind you that currency adoption takes time. As I've said many times before, I expect the iterations following BTC to happen faster than BTC itself because the coordination game proved sustained value creation. So to be clear, I'm not implying this is a 1:1 comparison, but rather that being early to something is supposed to feel uncertain.
Let's compare this to BTC. The BTC genesis block was on January 3rd, 2009. 2.5 years later, BTC was on a huge dip...from $25 (ATH) to $15. It then proceeded to retrace all the way back to ~$2. Another 2.5 years later in 2013, it proceeded to nearly 1,000x, never offering close to those prices again.
These things take time, but they are explosive.
There is something to be said for ignoring noise and committing to the path.
Game theoretically
1. Bitcoin will be emulated (cooperative game proved that collective action on permissionless rails creates value)
2. The next “version” will happen much faster than the first (proof of concept complete, more outcome certainty for participants)
3. Involvement in its creation and SURVIVAL will involve a lot of volatility, blood, sweat and tears
