Algorithmic price setting and wage discrimination are threats to privacy and well-being, as well as to state revenues. Some states are moving to protect workers and consumers.

In 7 weeks there will be virtually no wheelchair accessible taxis on Toronto's streets as the city removes them all on March 31st. Sitting on $21M of the industry's money, they made no plan (which was the purpose of collecting the funds starting in 2019) and it's too late now.
