The #ullswater #hopperbus service for 2025 starts TODAY! Currently, it is weekends only but will be a 7 day service in the summer, making a lot of difference to the number of cars in the valley. #ullswaterhopperbus #ullswaterway

Blencathra or Saddleback? I prefer Blencathra, it derives from Cumbric, old Welsh, a Celtic language. ‘Blain-Cadeir’ meant ‘summit seat’. The N Lakes is a melting pot of dialects and has been part of the kingdoms of both Strathclyde Rheged in its past. @ old-north.co.uk

Really disappointed to see thousands of balloons being released in Liverpool in the memory of Welsh drag queen "The Vivienne"
