WTFD St. 81 spent time on station today training with their newest probationary firefighter, Zachary Sparks, running Rapid Intervention Team (RIT) drills. Training builds teamwork, communication, and readiness for the most challenging job—rescuing a downed firefighter.

3:40 PM- 465 northbound at the 11 MM north of the Sam Jones Expressway will continue to be shut down for an extended time frame due to a semi tractor-trailer fire. Please avoid the area on the west side of Indianapolis
