Accurate. This comment leads me into a state of the union. So I run a business and more often than not that allows me to carve out a 2-3 hours a day to tape. But since October I kicked off several major projects and my usually lax schedule is insanely inundated. That's why I deleted the apps for the 6 week break to digital detox and give my undivided attention to work and my 20mo old baby girl. Sorry I will inform you guys next time I check out - did not anticipate how much you guys would miss me 😊 Appreciate all the messages and dms. So after a red hot summer in 2025, we had an ice cold winter. Still ended 2025 up roughly 135 units, but thats less impressive considering I was up nearly 250 units at the start of fall. Now some of this was normal variance (IE add 70 units on a mega td ticket if Leon gets a third TD on prates after getting two TD in the first round, he gets sparked 30 seconds into the second round. ISAAC DULGARIAN (40 units), etc). But I'm gonna put my hand up and accept responsibility. I was unable to tape to the degree which is required to have SUSTAINED success. This is why tickets were coming all on saturday. I was relying on prior knowledge when I finally had a moment to breathe and results showed it. Sidenote: this demonstrates no matter how much you know, how important tape is. So what's this all mean for 2026? Well I don't anticipate my schedule returning to normal for at least a few more months. But I certainly can't sit on the sideline for that long, so what I'm thinking is I'm going to skip things like the Road to UFC fights and debutants. Lesser known quantities = more time investment. I will also refrain from getting involved in coin toss type fights. I will cherry pick a few spot and deep dive tape on those. Will always have TD and SS tickets. Maybe a ladder. And a few semi-confident plays. But not putting in any plays that haven't been vetted to my usual standard. Let's see how this goes vs the normal 30 tickets a card. Will re-assess in a month or two. Pie in the sky, I end up more profitable with less time investment. But I'm hoping to replicate 70% of the success, while spending 70% less time. I cash out at the end of every year and start each new year with a 25k bankroll. Let's see what we cash out Dec 31 2026. Target is at least 150units. But most importantly, it's good to be back.
