"I wish there was a way to know you're in 'the good old days”
About 14 years ago, we had this beautiful office in an old school building where we were building a social learning platform. We were naive, told dad jokes all day, and manually(!?)built the software of our dreams.

You shipped a better design. Users hated it anyway.
That’s not irrational. A redesign is a loss to someone who had the old one memorised. Losses always hit harder than gains feel good.

Not because it got better. Because you got used to it.
Zajonc proved this in the 60s. Your eye isn’t judging anymore. It’s just recognizing.
